MUA NATIONAL FINAL 2023

On Friday the 1st of September, 24 of Australia’s most beautiful, intelligent and driven women took to the stage for the 2023 Miss Universe Australia National Final, held in the Grand Ballroom of Sofitel Melbourne on Collins.

 

These incredible young women showcased their intelligence, beauty and confidence through their participation in a swimwear walk, gown walk and answering both pre-prepared and impromptu questions on stage.

 

The finalists had the audience of over 400 supporters in awe as they flaunted their C Design swimwear, ONS Boutique gowns and Stelios jewellery. The glamourous evening included the announcement of the Final 10 finalists, who each answered a question on stage, selected at random. Followed by the announcement of the Final 5 who each answered the question “With so many challenges and social issues affecting the world today, what cause or issue do you most want to see change in, and what do you believe you can do, to make a meaningful impact towards this change?“

 

Also announced were Social Ambassador, Somaya O’Donnell, Miss Congeniality, Lauren Walker and 2023 ToyBox Ambassador, Mary Lopez, who has raised $18.5k for children’s charity, ToyBox Australia.

 

2022 ToyBox Ambassador, Sally Kurzke, was also awarded a lifetime Ambassadorship after raising over $45.5k for ToyBox in the past 2 years.

 

All of these amazing participants were awarded with an official sash and a beautiful floral arrangement by Roses Only.

 

Also announced was the winner of the 2023 Official Swim Shoot, shot by famed photographer, Jarrad Seng at Furama Resort in Da Nang, Vietnam. This announcement secured Moraya Wilson her spot in the Final 10.

 

The night concluded with the highly anticipated official announcement of Miss Universe Australia 2023, Moraya Wilson.

 

Moraya will fly out to represent Australia at the International Final in El Salvador on November 18. We’re so excited to see her accomplish amazing things throughout her reign.
