THE PROGRAM

Miss Universe Australia provides the country’s most ambitious, educated and beautifully confident young women a platform for advocacy and growth, as well as a chance at the Miss Universe Australia title. This super fun, self-development program offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences and opportunities for all participants, with many going on to achieve roles including E! News Presenter, Channel 7 Olympics commentary host, paediatric doctor at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Channel 10 national news anchor, published author, and United Nations Ambassador. 

You do not need to be crowned Miss Universe Australia to enjoy the insane benefits the platform offers.

Every year, one finalist is crowned Miss Universe Australia and goes on to proudly represent Australia on the International Miss Universe stage. In addition to the lifelong friendships and newfound confidence gained throughout the program, previous finalists have received incredible prizes, added lifechanging certificates and experiences to their resumes, created a myriad of amazing memories, and had so much. This is evidenced in the sheer numbers and quality of our participants year on year, our photo galleries and videos, but most importantly through our Alumni.

CHARITY INVOLVEMENT

Philanthropy is a major part of the Miss Universe Australia journey, every finalist has the opportunity to make a real difference, working together to raise money for ToyBox Australia, a charity dedicated to supporting Australia’s sick and disadvantaged children. Each year, our State and National Finalists host fundraisers, organise events, and volunteer their time to raise vital funds and awareness for our partner charities. In 2025, the Miss Universe Australia group raised over $600k going towards grants for organisations like Camp Quality, Ocean Heroes, and Ronald McDonald House, which help fund vital programs and life-changing therapies that bring fun, comfort, and positive memories to children and families facing serious challenges. This hands-on involvement not only gives back to the community but also empowers our participants with invaluable skills, experiences, and a deeper sense of purpose.

ALUMNI

For the past 10 years, under the management of Pink Tank Events, the legendary members of MUA have forged extraordinary bonds and lasting friendships. Despite their diverse backgrounds, skills, and dreams, they share common traits: courage, enthusiasm, ambition, and a relentless work ethic. This vibrant alumni network will offer far more value to our future participants than any traditional school or university alumni group.

We take immense pride in this community, and it's where we believe you'll find the greatest fulfilment and support.

MENTOR PROGRAM

In 2025, for the first time, Pink Tank Events are compiling a select group of high achieving men and women, across a variety of industries and expertise, to help guide our participants and Alumni through challenging scenarios and assist in finding a smoother, faster path to success in their chosen fields.

Leading the initiative are Mrs Deborah Thomas (CEO Camp Quality), Dr Olivia Wells (Paediatric Doctor and Miss Universe Australia 2013), and our CEO Troy Barbagallo.

 

CONTENT CREATION

For many of you considering participating, one of the most common concerns about the Miss Universe Australia program is content creation and meeting the expectations of our team and our valued partners. We completely understand the desire to keep your pages unique and authentic. For some of you, this comes naturally; for others, it may feel like more of a challenge. Rest assured, we have the best team to support you, and much of the content creation process will be done together. We celebrate each individual’s approach to sharing content in their own authentic way, with messaging and styling that truly resonates with you.

The program itself is exceptional, and our partners are incredibly generous, which plays a crucial role in its success. As a team, we make sure to reward them just as they reward us.

In the end, you’ll have an impressive library of high-quality content and priceless memories that money simply can’t buy.

YOUR INVESTMENT

There is no financial investment required to participate in Miss Universe Australia 2026 - everything is provided, including the travel. This program is incredibly generous and designed to be deeply rewarding for everyone.

What we do ask is for your time and commitment to invest in yourself, bringing the best version of you to the program. And in return, we promise to support you every step of the way.

Beyond the two trips, which are part of the journey if you become a National Finalist, the program is structured to fit seamlessly around your work or studies. You’ll be joining a group of ambitious finalists, many of whom balance work and/or education.

The program is designed to work with your schedule, so while it won’t disrupt your life, we do promise it will transform it.

  • Registrations for 2026 are now open!

  • Yes, we received your application form as soon as it is submitted however your application is not complete until we receive your images and video. Ensure you share these with us before registration closes to be considered as a state finalist. You will receive an email confirmation when you have completed your application.

  • It is free to enter and participate in Miss Universe Australia

  • No, we have absolutely no restrictions and encourage everyone to apply.

  • Yes, you must be at least 18 years of age as of January 1 in the year you wish to participate.

  • Experience of all levels is welcome, regardless of your experience we are confident you will grow and learn new skills throughout the program.

  • All applicants located in Western Australia will automatically be registered in MWC as a preliminary round for Miss Universe Australia.

  • Yes, as long as your meet the entry requirements.

  • You will be presented with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to work with incredible brands, attend self development workshops and glamorous events, and form life-long friendships. Previous participants have gone on to utilise their platforms to advocate for worldly issues and to build successful careers. The winner of Miss Universe Australia will go on to represent Australia on the International Miss Universe stage. There are also incredible prizes up for grabs for all state finalists, and the winner is eligible for a $20k Business Start Up and Education Grant and multiple paid ambassadorships.

  • If you are successful in moving forward as a National Finalist, you will join your fellow National Finalists and the Pink Tank Events team on a week long international trip in May where you will participate in your Official Swimwear Shoot, activations, dinners and events.

    The National Finalists will also be required to travel to whatever state the National Final is being held, this is a week-long commitment filled with incredible events, dinners, runway shows and sponsor activities and of course the show-stopping main event where Miss Universe is crowned!

    Additionally, the winner of Miss Universe Australia will be required to attend the Miss Universe International Final overseas.

    All travel costs for National Finalists are covered by Pink Tank Events.

  • Throughout the program you are invited to attend a series of workshops, events, cocktail parties, and runway shows. We understand that you have other commitments outside the program but we recommend attending as manny events as possible. The more you put into the program the more you get out of it.
